Contact: online abuse reporting form

Like any host, Infomaniak records the IP address of each visit in a technical log, used for server security. It keeps this log for at least 7 days.

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the amended French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), you have rights over your personal data. This section explains what I collect, why, how long I keep it, and how to exercise your rights.

Data collected and purposes

The pages of this site collect nothing about you, except your IP address, which the host and the IGN can see, and visit statistics (see below). Personal data is only collected in the following cases:

• Online booking: the “Book online” button leads to my booking tool. What you enter there, how I use it and how long I keep it are described in its privacy policy.
• Emails: emails received at the contact address are kept so that I can follow up on our exchanges.

Legal basis

Performance of the transport contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) for bookings and journeys.

Legal obligation (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)) for invoicing and accounting.

Legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) for visit statistics, which tell me which pages are useful to you.

Retention period

Accounting records and invoices: 6 years (tax obligation, Article L102 B of the French Tax Procedure Code, Livre des procédures fiscales).

Bookings and journeys: 5 years after the journey, the period during which a claim can still be made (Article 2224 of the French Civil Code).

Visit statistics: 25 months, the maximum period accepted by the CNIL for this type of measurement.

Recipients of the data

Your data is never transferred or sold. It may be passed on:

• to the tax authorities and social security bodies, to meet legal obligations;
• to my accountant, who is bound by professional secrecy.

Where your data is stored

The site, its visit statistics and my email are hosted in Switzerland. Switzerland is not in the European Union, but the European Commission recognises that its laws protect personal data to an equivalent standard (adequacy decision of 26 July 2000).

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and data portability. You can exercise these rights:

• by email to contact@taxibalagne.com;
• by post to the publisher's address (above, under Site publisher).

You will receive a reply within one month. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés), the French data protection authority.

This site sets no cookies.

To find out how many people read it and which pages are useful to them, I count visits. These statistics are for my use only and are not combined with anything else.

Fonts, style sheets and scripts are self-hosted on the same server as the site's pages.

One exception: the map backgrounds on the Where I'll take you page come from the servers of the IGN (Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière, the French national mapping agency), located in France. Your browser sends them your IP address, as it does to any website. The IGN sets no cookies.

The information on this site is provided for guidance only and may change (fares, areas served, availability). The fare estimates shown are for guidance only, excluding waiting time, the taxi's journey to you, any extras and traffic conditions: they are neither a firm price nor a maximum amount. The price of a journey can neither exceed the fares in the prefectoral order, applied by the meter, nor be less than €8, the minimum set by that same order.
