What people ask me most often.
Booking
Do I need to book in advance?
It's strongly recommended, especially in high season.
Can I call at the last minute?
Yes, if I'm available.
If I'm with a passenger, I can't always answer: try me again a little later.
Do you work at night?
I don't run a regular night service.
For early-morning airport transfers (6–7am flights), remember to book ahead so that I can plan for it.
The car and passengers
How many people can you take?
4 passengers maximum.
My car, a 2024 BMW X1, has one seat in the front and three in the back.
Do you accept pets?
Yes, pets are welcome.
Remember to mention it when you book, especially for large dogs, so that I can make room in the boot.
Do you have child seats or booster seats?
My car isn't equipped with a child seat or a booster seat.
If you're travelling with a young child, remember to bring your own: the car has Isofix points in the back.
Do you have room for luggage?
Yes. Four passengers, each with a suitcase, fit in with no trouble.
The regulated fares include a €2 extra per piece of bulky luggage: trunk, chest, bike, diving gear, large sports equipment… It only applies beyond three suitcases or bags of similar size per passenger.
The best thing is to tell me when you book: we'll see what fits, I'll confirm, and I'll plan the space in the boot.
Fares
Full fare details and an estimate for your journey are on the Fares page.
How are fares calculated?
By the meter, at the regulated fares in force in Haute-Corse, set every year by prefectoral order. They are maximum fares, the same for every taxi in the department.
For long journeys, call me: we'll go over the timing and the route together, and I'll quote you a price before we set off. The meter stays on: if it shows less, you pay less.
Can I get an estimate before the journey?
Of course: the fare calculator on the Fares page gives you one, and so does the booking form, before you send your request.
Can't find your question?
The quickest way is still to call me during the day, and we'll talk it over!
